The Governor said he was impressed with the creativity of the Managing Director of Lovemetusalah Microfinance Bank, Mrs. love Dooshima Kwaghshir whom according to testimony had approached the governor while he was serving as state secretary of the PDP for financial assistance to actualise her dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

According to the revelation, the ten thousand naira financial assistance the governor gave to Mrs. Kwaghshir was part of the investment that had metamorphosed into Love Metusalah Investment Limited and the microfinance bank.

Governor Ortom while urging Benue people to own businesses to improve their economic status said Oracle Business Conglomerate started in his house with very little resources but later accessed five million naira, N100 million, N570 million and N1.5b at different intervals from financial institutions to become what it is today.

He commended Workman Network for their commitment towards empowering entrepreneurs and for always standing with him, even as he charged benefiting cooperative societies to prudently utilize the loans given to them.

Earlier, President of Workman Network, Reverend Abraham Ayuba while pledging their continued support to the Governor said only 100 out of the over 1000 cooperative societies would benefit from the N100 million loan.

While assuring that the loan would be paid back within the stipulated time, Reverend Ayuba appealed for more funds for disbursement to deserving cooperative societies in the next phase of the exercise.

In a remark, Legal Adviser to Love Metusalah Investment Limited, Barrister Vincent Tortsugh pledged the support of the company to the poverty alleviation drive of the governor through massive youths empowerment and employment.
